hmm.. i got bored. i didn't really like the old layout for this blog... kinda lacked contrast. so what do you guys think of the new look? good/bad/needs improvement?
anyways, how were your thanksgivings?
i kinda don't like asian family get-togethers. it's always an awkward mix for the kids. i watched lord of the rings and part of star wars 2. and i got fed. plus it was thanksgiving... so i can't complain. =P

i love executive decision! i used to rent that movie, like, every time i went to pathmark. hahahaha.. :) they got rid of their video rental department, though. i was very sad.. i think it was only about a dollar a rental. psh.. everything is so expensive now. but yeah, executive decision rocks. the guy who did shang's voice in mulan is in it! bd wong. neato. :o)
eric has a rather large fan base, apparently. or so i've heard. hahahaha.. i think that's funny. =D
go watch alias. NOW. but if it's not on, watch it on sunday. all new episode! yay! :)
stephanie // 2:42:00 PM
shooot.. maybe i should start watching alias. cuz i have absolutely idea what you guys are talking about. all i know about that show is that it's about spies and that michael vartan is hot. hmm... i mean.... that's what i've heard.
so smallville is disappointing me these days... the episodes are growing increasingly far-fetched and steadily decreasing in quality. not that a superstrong superman isn't far-fetched... but oh well. it's supposed to be good! *sigh* i might hafta cross that off my mental shows-to-watch list.
Will // 1:18:00 AM
i thought it was spelled sarc for some reason. hmm. yeah, he's cool. and he IS rather adorable, now that i think of it. i like his hair. nice and tousled.. kind of like michael vartan's. except michael vartan is hotter. mwahaha. =)
i love how every blog occassionally turns to discussing alias and the hotness of michael vartan. i wonder if he knows that millions of teenage girls are obsessed with him. haha.
anyway, back to work. must write several essays. doh. :o)
stephanie // 4:03:00 PM
i thought sark was russian. he's a regular slickster, i agree. wasn't it an awesome twist when it seemed like sloane was dead, but then he wasn't! wow!
Zi // 4:01:00 PM
hey connie..you didn't tell me you were going to see the goo goo dolls! hmph. i don't really like them (i think i only like...iris and..the stuff off of "a boy named goo") but thats cool! lisa loeb is very cool. my friend from ny saw that concert and said it was rockin. hope you had fun. =)
congrats to serena and everyone who's already college bound! i should really send in my rutgers application..
will is my new hero because he likes sixpence. the new album is pretty good, minus the fifth and sixth tracks. but thats ok beacuse they didn't write the fifth track and jason wade (lifehouse) cowrote the sixth. so its his fault. otherwise its really good. i don't like though, how they've changed the lyrics of a lot of the songs and the chorus of one song. matt slocum is still just about one of the best songwriters/lyricists i've ever heard...in my opinion. but i'm just really biased. plus i've waited five (5!!!) years for this album. thats a long time. listen to their sophomore album, will!! its good. more rock, less pop, still great songs and lyrics. bad producing though. and i don't like the band's new members. but they're still one of my favorite bands. i could blog about them for a really long time. will, try to find the live versions of the recent album..preferably ones starting from '98-'99...they have some of the original lyrics. man i wish i could critique bands for a living. that would be fun. i could just listen to the album and either rip them apart or love em. hey it would be cool to write for rolling stone or spin. wow thats my next (unrealistic) goal in life!!! right after i become a spy, rock star, and pastor's wife (please don't ask...). wish me luck. ;)

hm... i find it odd whenever i hear people say snap like that. have any of you ever wondered about the source of verbal creativity and how new words get spread around?
and thanksgiving break starts soon, but i can't decide if i'm excited/happy or not. well i guess i sorta am, cuz i finally get a break from schoolwork. unfortunately i have exams right when i get back. ugh. but i will definitely enjoy 70 degree weather. and i have yet to see my new house. gosh, i don't even know my own address or phone number....... sad.
hmm.. i want some orange mocha frappucino! where do they have that stuff? i kept staring at it in steph's post while i was writing this entry. mmmm.
tonight is all campus worship. it's so blessing to see so many christians across campus all in one place. it's nice to see a gathering that's not all korean for once. haha.. and i'm totally just kidding. i hope i stay awake though...
gosh, i am tired. and it seems that whenever i'm tired, random songs keep playing in my head. really loudly. right now, i'm hearing the chorus for "breathe your name." i like it when band webpages have the songs on there so you can listen to them. yup. sixpence's new songs are quite catchy.
Will // 6:54:00 PM
...i became... bulemic.
you can read minds??? awwww, SNAP!
that's what i think of whenever i hear snap. and after i think of that, i think of the freak gasoline fight accident and the orange mocha frappucino. hahaha. zoolander rocks. :)
i think i'm going to go write my english essay. this was a really cheap entry. =)
stephanie // 2:54:00 PM
i'll see harry potter with you guys! all my friends went to go see it but i had worship practice. also, i didn't read the book yet. also, i don't think i will by the time you guys come home anyway. =D
i think i'm going to schedule a college interview soon. one of my friends, super nervous for her harvard interview last week, was asking me to do "role-playing" to get her prepped. so i asked, "if you could describe yourself in three to four words, what would they be?" she said (jokingly), "amazing, harvard-bound, and ugly." then she explained, "well obviously they'll want an amazing person. and i belong at harvard so i'm harvard-bound, and i figured that if i said i was ugly, they'd put a huge "UGLY" stamp on my application...which would be good because then when they see my application, they'll say to themselves, 'oh, the ugly girl! i remember her. aw, she thinks shes ugly. lets accept her!'" hahaha. ok it was really funny at the time. especially since we were complaining about this football player in our grade. he's ok at academics, semi ok on sats. but he's applying to schools like princeton because they're recruiting him for football. he said that they put a huge "FOOTBALL" stamp on his application. anyway. by the way, my friend is not ugly. hehe.
oh, snap.
Ellen // 12:06:00 AM
oh yeah, and this is in response to will's post on 11/11/2002 at 3:54:14 am. about the amusing link. according to Web Page Creation & Design (Compact Guide) by Linda Ericksen, in the chapter entitled "Linking to Other Documents and Creating Forms":
"You may have seen Web pages that have phrases such as click here to indicate a link. You should avoid such meaningless text and instead create links that flow with the text. The user should know to click the text without having to be told to click there, because you have formatted the text as hypertext."
oh, snap! linda ericksen called your words meaningless. she is right, you know.
Zi // 8:59:00 PM
i'll see it with you, connie. i'm not seing it this weekend, because i saw 2 movies 2 weeks in a row. 8 mile! good stuff...you can read my opinions on my blog. =) anyway, take care with your math. after this semester, no more math for me!! unless i major in physics or something. anyway, bye!
Zi // 2:45:00 PM
speaking of college...
i just scheduled my yale interview. just now. on the phone. after thinking that the interviewer who was calling was grace pan. and saying, hey what's up to a complete stranger. i felt stupid. but it's okay. i'm feeling apprehensive. extremely. hoo boy. :P
anyways. i have that feeling you get when you have very little homework. except.. i have quite a bit. there must be something wrong with my brain today.. or every day. is it an early sign of senioritis? probably. that makes me sad.. because i used to have a good work ethic. ah, who am i kidding, i still care. i'm a nerd to the core. i don't feel like doing anything but there's a little voice in my head screaming and freaking out because she realizes that if i don't work, i'll be screwed. stupid conscience. grr..
wahoo, harry potter on friday. and 007 next friday!!!! i love movies.
stephanie // 8:40:00 PM
awww.. i'm almost out of the orange crush bubble jug. it was good while it lasted though.
and i am so very dead this week... ece exam on monday. physics exam on wednesday. and i don't know anything yet. why do i do this to myself? argh argh argh.
and i hafta register for classes. and i'm still not sure what i'm gonna do yet. argh some more.
anyways... hope you guys have good weeks.

Will // 3:54:00 AM
oh, and i also bought this "bubble jug" bubble gum... orange crush flavored.
it's basically gum in powdered form. and guess what?? it tastes JUST like powdered orange Tang!
isn't that cool??
Will // 2:15:00 AM
